Key responsabilities

You will support the Project Manager with the administrative and logistical tasks required to organize, track, and coordinate construction activities.

  • Ensure worker safety on site
  • Enforce zero-tolerance policies
  • Verify that all protective and safety equipment is in place (fire extinguishers, earplugs, gloves, first-aid kit, temporary lighting, etc.)
  • Plan worker onboarding/orientation
  • Complete a daily report with the information needed to ensure site safety
  • Prepare traffic/control plans
  • Adapt the prevention plan to each project
  • Manage site postings to comply with current regulations
  • Verify equipment compliance on site
  • Validate workers’ required training and competency cards for the tasks they perform
  • Coordinate site committee meetings
  • Work with the H&S officer to keep sites safe
  • When needed, issue disciplinary warnings for safety violations
  • In case of an accident, investigate and complete the required documentation

You’re a great fit if you have

  • A health & safety coordinator certification
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Bilingualism (French and Rnglish) is an asset, not a requirement
  • Knowledge of construction-site laws and regulations
