Why join our team?
What if your role as an architect started well before the plans and continued all the way through construction?
BBL Construction is looking for an architect who wants to practise their profession differently: closer to decision-making, closer to the field, closer to what actually gets built.
The selected candidate will play a key role from the earliest stages of a project. They will be involved in the analysis, planning and optimization of concepts, working closely with the development, design, estimating and construction teams.
Job Description
his is not a role where the architect will be expected to stamp drawings. Their contribution will be focused on analysis, optimization, coordination and supporting upstream decision-making.
It is a strategic role where professional judgment, knowledge of the Quebec Construction Code, the ability to interpret regulatory constraints, and the capacity to connect design, costs and execution will bring significant value.
The architect will help maximize the potential of projects, from site planning to feasibility, functionality and overall quality. Their contribution will support stronger decisions early in the process, better continuity between architectural vision and built reality, and the development of BBL’s internal design expertise.
The person will contribute to a variety of projects, primarily in a design-build context, including commercial, multi-residential, agri-food and socially driven projects.
